Ukrainians in Spain and Portugal, shall we meet in May?
Musician, multi-instrumentalist and sound producer — Hordiy Starukh is heading out on a charity tour "For Our People at the Edge of the World", supported by the charitable foundation "Tykho" and Work.ua.
These will be intimate concerts: lots of music and lots of familiar people gathering together, far from home.
These are live performances in a one-man-band format, where everything is created before your eyes: a hurdy-gurdy with its drawn-out sound, incredible rhythms, electronics and voice. In addition to concerts, some cities will host open meetings and conversations about Ukrainian culture and a traditional instrument — the hurdy-gurdy.
During the tour, we will be raising funds for vehicles for units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
Here's the list of cities — find yours, spread the word to friends and family, and we'll see each other in: Lisbon, Figueira da Foz, Madrid, Almería, Seville, Málaga. More cities will be added soon, so stay tuned for announcements!
